This is a question I’ve been asking myself my entire life.
The two best words to sum me up are probably “insatiably curious”. The world is a huge place and I’ll never see everything but it hasn’t stopped me from trying. Given the capitalist oligarchy that we live in, at some point, I decided that the best way to do “most everything” was to pursue career opportunities that provided experiences I could never spin up on my own.
With that, I was teenage model (Benetton, Guess Jeans, and so.much.hairspray.), Radio DJ, Travel “Professional”, Museum Lady, and Wine and Sake Diploma Holder. Now, I’ve somehow fallen into podcast hosting and the film industry…or the La Brea Tar Pits. I can’t quite tell which. My LA lives have always centered around Mid-Wilshire, which has now become another one of my life’s great mysteries.
Beyond work, I love cooking, traveling, listening to music, going to the library, not driving, dreaming in French or Japanese depending upon my stress levels, and not being cold 10 months out of the year.
